How do I know when to clean my tank?
I’m a new fish owner and i feel my tank needs to be cleaned. We have had our tank for about two weeks. I have anxiety about losing my fish. One of my fish are browning but the others are fine. Every once in a while one of the fish scratches itself on decor but not all of them. No signs of illnesses except that one fish darkening. I’ve added pictures of the bottom of the tank and the particles floating around. My water is okay and the temp is between 78-80 for my fish. I added floss to the back of my tank last week. Every times I’m mention it to my partner he says to leave them alone because the tank isn’t as dirty as I think it is and that I’m going to end up killing them if I keep trying to mess with them. I’ve only added the terracotta pots, floss, and the recommended amount of accu clear since we’ve had the tank.
