Venus flytrap turning yellow and traps not opening?
I got this venus flytrap from a nursery in West TN and it was doing alright when I first got it but recently the new traps started turning yellow and not opening. I did my research on these plants from a lot of sources like California Carnivores and have them in distilled/rainwater which is in the tray and it is in full sunlight right now The only reason I can think this is happening is because recently we've had a few abnormal cold spikes lately around 55 to a low of 45 plus it's been really cloudy and rainy lately, and I wonder if it confused the plant into thinking it's winter. Also a few days ago, a bird uprooted the poor plant thinking it was nesting material or something so that probably was part of it too. If anyone has any advice I'd definitely appreciate it.
