99% of big men will look like shit against the Spurs. Most players suck against the thunder. James Hardens old ass has been choking for a decade in the playoffs and he just got moved for prime Darius Garland.
Just because Rudy and Julius played like absolute dog shit this series does not mean other teams still don't value them for what they can do against 90% of the league. Julius is on a reasonable contract and averaged 21 7 and 5 this year on 48% shooting. That still has value in this league. Rudy got "played of the floor" before we acquired him and we still knew what he could do for us and obviously ponied up for it. Those guys are still good NBA players and the league will also still view them that way.
Dude if LaMelo ever plays in a playoff series we'd be able to get paid to take him off Charlotte's hands by some people's theories. Don't believe it.
