[TOMT] Looking for the title of an old movie
It's a movie my history teacher made us watch when I was like 11 or 12; I'd say it's an 80s or early 90s production. It's about the life of a historical figure like Charlemagne; could be him or a similar king/emperor/prince. The setting should be early middle ages. The only scenes I can remember are those my teacher freaked out about and skipped forward. In one the prince/king seduces his betrothed (or something like that) in a sort of indoor swimming pool with columns and makes her hold her breath under water. In the other the guy has sex with a woman under some pelts while his mother is sitting in front of him and keeps talking unfazed (lol). Honestly I'm not 100% sure it's a movie because it could be a sort of mini series but I'm leaning toward movie.
