The winning equation

SRH needed a win by 90 runs to surpass GT by covering a difference of 0.35 nrr, we have a difference of 0.954 with RR, so a 245 runs difference.

So we need PBKS to lose

RR to lose by 80 runs (LSG scores 210 and RR is restricted to 130 by Prince Yadav magic)

Kkr to score 110 to 120 and for us to chase it in 8 overs.

That's about it. May God bless us! /s

Stubbs as impact player | KL at 3

Really impressed with the way Sahil performed yesterday.

Just discussing a possibility here, we could open with Sahil and Porel, really dynamic.. would get quick runs.

Whenever KL has got out early it's trying to force the pace. So he can bat at 3 and hold one end until 15-16th over. If we lose wicket early then he plays his normal position.

Stubbs is in no form it's obvious by now, bring him in only if we lose one opener and KL early. Else go with either Kyle or Vipraj depending on the situation.

Strong on paper and weak on the field? Was players' form really a concern?

The current DC team is indeed strong, players do well when they know their role and have a clear mindset. The horrible team selection so far has meant that our batters are always covering up for another position like Stubbs, don't have clear role and are always confused. They are trying to adapt each game.

For eg if Porel had opened he clearly knows he has to go big from ball 2 or 3.. if pitch is slow he'll adapt a little but still knows his job is to wack.

With a settled and working middle order even KL is clear that he doesn't need to anchor, he also attacks at his pace, and would get a 50 more often than not. This means a pp score of ~70-1 on most occasions (barring slow pitches)

Stubbs 1 down would have had the time to settle and try and play till the end. Rana often takes time and disappoints on most occasions.

Rizvi as impact only if needed

A finishing combo of Miller & Ashutosh.. if one of them falters Vipraj as backup.

Axar would bat after him owing to his bad batting form.

This line-up looks so settled, if they played this eleven constantly people would settle into their roles.

Even bowling, everyone is bashing Mukesh, but if you see he's not a death bowler to begin with. He did decently in the PP, team should have stuck to Ngidi and Nataraj for 16-20 from the start.

Vipraj would have covered up for the off colour Kuldeep on a few occasions.

WE LOST THIS ENTIRE SEASON TO TERRIBLE TEAM SELECTION AND LACK OF PLAYERS' FORM AND CAPABILITY UNDERSTANDING BY THE COACH/ MANAGEMENT

The combination of Ashutosh and Vipraj did so well last year and we didn't even give them a chance.
