Took out the new barrel today. Constant failure to feed. I reached out to true precision, but noticed a substantial difference in the feed ramp compared to the stock barrel. Any thoughts?

On the right is the main gas line to the house. I'd like to install the vent for a direct vent gas fireplace as shown in the photo. I have 2.5" clearance to the line. Its 4x6 5/8 pipe. Install guide says 1" clearance to combustible, but wanted to get opinions on the gas line. There's a 90 where the line come through the cmu with the same distance.
