Thinking about MrCool? Please read this.[edited with pictures]

Let me preface by saying that I have installed 3 mrcool heat pumps in the past 3 years. First 2 (both mini splits) never gave me an issues. Still working wonderfully. I was an avid fan of the company and the concept. Then this summer I decided to get a universal 2nd generation 5 ton ducted system. Re-did all my ductwork, made my own plenums and installed a 3 zone system with Honeywell dampers and control board. Bought the system in early March and just finished the whole system this last week. Installed the heat pump in late April, early May. Been meticulous with all connections and followed the manual to the max one can follow it. Used it intermittently and it worked great. Installation was a relative breeze with the pre charged lineset. Checked the connections for leaks, no issues whatsoever. Then I ran it for extended period for the first time last week and the nightmare started. It stopped cooling and I got an error message EL OC. I was under the impression that MrCool has good warranty coverage. Oh boy!

I have always called customer support expecting pushback and every time I am pleasantly surprised. This time was the opposite. I am going to post the screenshots here, the whole conversation. You can makeup your mind on what you see. Needless to say, if this is typical, it's borderline criminal behavior in my opinion.
