My favorite new guitars this year are the fender vintera iii and fender vinetera II roadworns. I understand boutique builders make amazing guitars and I have a Suhr classic S but for around 1k fender has a great MIM lineup and even the fender pro classics for MIA. I don’t want company politics or decisions to influence my buying behavior if there is a good guitar at a good price I support it and I think fender still provides good value

Edit: lots of reactions here - we all enjoy guitar and as guitar consumers we certainly want options etc
