hope scholarship woes
Hey y'all, I'm taking 6 credit hours of classes this summer and I was under the impression that hope would cover the tuition cost, but so far nothing. I assumed it was just taking a while to kick in, but atp I'm not so sure lol
I called the finaid office and they told me I didn't have any scholarship money "left over" for summer from fall/spring last year which makes no sense to me because hope only covers the exact tuition amount.... why would there be any left over in the first place 😭
I read some posts here and in other GA college subreddits that all said you just needed 6 hrs and it might take a while to kick in and I have hope for next year so it's not like I somehow lost eligibility right?
Any help/more people to call would be very appreciated. My family's broke as hell so not paying tuition is a big help :')
