Hi Mods,

I’ve been a member of this community for a long time—I’ve been here since before the initial Microsoft deal

I’m writing this because I think many of us have noticed a significant drop in the quality of the front page lately. The sub is currently being flooded with "meaningless" posts, low-effort spam, and the usual "Should I buy?", "What’s your price target?", and "Is it too late?" questions.
While I understand new members have questions, these repetitive threads are burying the high-quality content, deep-dives, and actual news that make this subreddit valuable.
Can we please bring back a Daily Discussion Thread (or a stickied Megathread)?
Having a dedicated space for quick questions and casual talk would:

1. Filter out the noise: Redirect low-effort posts to a single place.
2. Improve Visibility: Let interesting, content-rich posts actually reach the top.
3. Keep the community organized: Make it easier for veterans and researchers to find meaningful discussions without scrolling through dozens of price-target threads.
   Would love to hear the community's and the mmods' thoughts on this. Let's get the quality back!
