New to me Ranger mystery
Stoked on getting this Ranger for a steal. She’s a 2004 3.0 XLT(?) 2WD 160,000 miles
I lucked out with an acquaintance of mine, who doesn’t know much about trucks, selling it to me for $1k. It had a check engine on, body damage, and some few small replacements needed which was the sellers reason for the low price. Ended up just needing a new coil pack for the CE and after basic maintenance/standard replacements she’s running beautifully. Absolutely lucked out on this one.
Now my mystery is figuring out if this is a Frankenstein build or if it’s really this rare of an off the lot package option. As you’ll see I have the infamous full length center console which per my understanding only came in the tremor or special upgrade XLT packages. I still have to determine if it actually has the subwoofer which will 100% confirm the trim. There is vents on either side of the console which is what the upgraded speaker trim did have.
I’m just thrown off with the edge style matching bumper/valence as well as edge decal stickers. Maybe I’m missing something here but hoping this great community can give me some insight/guidance. I’ll answer any needed questions you have as this is my current full time hobby. Love these trucks🤙🏼
