My husband L has been hanging out with new friends. We are new to the area and I think it’s great he found some guys to hang with. It’s just about every other weekend they get together and ride motorcycles. We have kids and our daughter has a big music showcase this weekend and he said something about needing to make a decision on if he is going to go on a guys trip out of town on this weekend With the guys Around a month ago. I looked him straight in the face when he first brought it up and reminded him that our daughter has a big event (she has been practicing for this for 6months) he was like oh yeah. Then brought up the weekend trip again a week later I asked if he is really thinking about going to that and he said yeah. I looked at him and said that if he goes we will have a serious problem in our relationship. he brushed it off like he didn’t hear me. One of the things I love about him is The dedication he has towards our kids and family. this is something he would have never have done in the past missing a big event. I don’t know how to describe how crushed I feel to know that if he goes our daughter will be devastated on a big night. She has never not had her dad there. I don’t know how to navigate this.
