I was terminated today. I am awaiting Market People Lead response to open door. I was told I am terminated per Market decision because I marked down boots with no location some of which were already on home office markdown, to $2. This markdown was around $6k total. I was told the decision for termination was due to the fact I didn’t ask anyone if I could mark them down this low. I am a Team Lead in Fashion. Is this fair? Is there anything I can do to get this decision overturned? I really want to keep my job and from what I can gather no one has heard of this being a reason for immediate termination.
