Sasuke is far more emotional responsive than the average male lead
Saw a post on here using an edited meme of Sasuke and Sakura.
Is their romance written well. No
But it's far better than the average oi couple. Even in early Naruto it's proven time and time again that while not love then ,Sasuke values Sakura as a close person to his heart.
It's also shown despite not showing much emotion and locking himself from people Sakura understands him.
After all she was the only who knew he would try to leave the village.
Also don't act like she was Sasuke crazy in Shippuden, she didn't fawn over him, heck she was pissed at him and even tried to kill him, at the end of the whole saga he apologizes and she doesn't just accept. She asks him what is he apologizing for and he says everything.
Their novels go into more detail with there relationship with Sasuke even at one point admitting that if Sakura died before him he would bring her back with Edo tensei despite the consequences.
Their romance isn't the best but it's better than majority of our slop
