Back to office?!!! USDC and CORE
Recently I asked if there will ever be direction to be fully in office again (I raised this question after talking about the recent benefits changes). The answer I got was there are rumblings from higher up that in about a year they will start to ask to align to one of the three delivery centers (surprise I’m USDC) the closer to me is about 5-6 hours away. We have a house here, the wife is working a stable job in politics, and we have kids going to school year. When I had mentioned while it would still be a discussion whether I stay or leave then my coach did mention potentially I could get put into core as a core office is 15–20 minutes away from me. Does anyone have any insight on this? I personally think it would happen and honestly would love to be more in person just logistically it would be difficult unless I get moved to core OR they are offering some sort of co-location benefit (which would love to hear what type of benefits they have provided in the past for example would they put us into a paid townhouse for a handful of months etc…)
