I am taking a gap year this year I currently hold a UCL CS offer deferred entry. I think I am going to ask if they will let me switch over to maths - my predicted grades were 4 A* in Maths, Further Maths, Econ and Compsci

I took the TMUA last year and got a 4.1 At that point I was relatively strong at A Level maths - 86% in mocks, however now I am much stronger in both A level maths (96% mocks) and A level FM.

I did quite a lot of revision for the TMUA last year - around 1.5hrs for 2.5 months a day. I am wondering if it is worth the time investment to retake the TMUA and reapply to Imperial maths or to take the UCL offer and try and switch internally. As in is it possible to make a significant enough jump in TMUA score?
