Fiance 28M Lies About Little Things to me 28F
tl;dr I need advice. My Fiancé (28M) and I (28F) are very compatible in many ways. He is loving, supportive, funny/witty, and we share all the same life values. We have known each other since we were 12. Separated at 17 and reconnected later in life.
I catch him telling little lies though. For example: my cat passed recently and he said "I remember my cat crawled in the bathtub and passed away like that" but I clearly remember him also saying that his cat died because his parents to it to the vet to get euthanized?
Another example, he was showing me a picture of bacon wrapped asparagus and said that his ex "burnt it to shi*" but months later showed me the same exact picture and said it turned out really good? Also everytime I say something, he has some sort of relation to it. Like I mentioned how they are trying to ban Kratóm and he said his friend is addicted to Kratom and I'm thinking "you mean the friend who haven't even talked to in like 8 years? I need advice. I love my fiance so much but this is getting out of hand. I know he has self esteem issues and depression too. I'm wondering if this is something that can be fixed or if it's time to move on?
