Grubhub added a code requirement to my delivery without me reporting orders missing
I had a bunch of uneventful, normal deliveries, and suddenly they added a code requirement to my order. I hated this, because now I had to go to the door to get my food instead of them leaving it, and I don't feel safe (been a victim of violence in the past.) Called customer service, complained up and down trying to get it removed, no one I talked to could explain anything or fix it. Grubhub does not empower their customer service to do what they need to do. Those poor workers are basically just there as a whipping boy to bear the complaints and apologize without the power to actually do anything.
A few orders later, a driver drives past my house, doesn't even stop, and steals my food. Easy refund.
Next order - code requirement is gone. Lol, what? I just actually had the thing the code is for happen, and now the code requirement is removed? I don't understand what the fuck Grubhub is doing, and I don't think they do, either.
