EP-2 3.0 Boost – Need your help! Missing rear fender mount on the rack? (Support sent me a second identical rack)
Hi everyone,
I need some help from fellow Engwe EP-2 3.0 Boost owners. I am a bit confused about how the rear fender is supposed to attach to the rear rack.
According to the official installation guide (see attached screenshot), the rear fender should be screwed directly into the bottom of the rack with an M4 screw. However, my original rack has absolutely no hole, thread, or bracket underneath to accept this screw.
I opened a support ticket with Engwe complaining about the missing fender mount. After a few days, they sent me a replacement rack... but it is exactly the same and still has no hole or mount underneath! 🤦♂️
Could anyone please share a photo in the comments showing how your rear fender is attached to the rack? Do your racks actually have a factory hole there, or did Engwe change the design and forget to update the manual?
Thank you so much for your help and photos!
