My bobble stitch lacks roundness and puffiness, how do I get it to look good ?

Hello everyone,

I have made very few bobble stitches in my life because i find them so hard to do. However, today i think i made the most amazing bobble stitch (1st pic) I could ever do. The thing is... I need to do another one and it looks nothing like a bobble stitch (2nd picture).

Does anyone know why it might lack the "puffiness" and roundness of the first bobble stitch ?

I tried doing it with a lot of tension, but im not sure this is the way to go.
