Anyone ever do a canvas from them? How is the quality? Do you have pictures of a finished canvas? I just found out they do a monthly subscription box with 2-3 kits each month and I thought that would be cool to get but I've never gotten anything from them before. The art work for their kits look so cute though! I would like to know how tight their grid is/how much gapping there is. Any insight for this company is appreciated!
I just saw this on Aliexpress.... i looked the image up on Google and sure enough Art by Julia did make this. I believe the title of it is "There's an Imposter Among us" ... How can aliexpress or temu or shein or any company like them do this? I get the "its expensive for this art let's sell it for a fraction of the price!" But the artist won't get paid anything. If I was new to diamond painting and looked up cheap kits and found this one I probably would have bought it not knowing who "Art by Julia" was until I started buying from DAC. I 100% wouldn't buy it now with the knowledge about diamond art that I have. It saddens me this company will make money off it without giving credit to the real artist.
Finished this today can't remember when I started it. It's a 30cmx40cm I got it cause it reminds me of my Calico kitty who is the second picture. It took about a week but I didn't work on it every day. I also do my paintings in sections this time i numbered them and spun a randomizer wheel. I think I'm going to do that from now on, it makes it more fun for me.
