COS with 2 Other Travelers
I am a COS (no seat belt extension needed on the new planes but my shoulders are very broad) and if flying alone or with one other person I have always purchased the extra seat. When flying with my wife and our nephew, because they’re smaller, I’ve never needed to purchase the extra seat. I have a trip coming up with the three of us so I didn’t buy an extra seat as it’s never been an issue.
My question is to other COS travelers- since the “new” policies started and agents are telling people they need to buy an extra seat, has anyone NOT purchased an extra seat when booking but also NOT been forced to purchase one at the airport the day of travel? Prices, obviously, have gone way up since I booked the flight but I know they’ll be even more the day of, so I’m not sure what to do.
