My length and ends of my hair feel moisturised, but my roots are so dry. Especially in the front because my hair is thicker there. Any product recommendations are appreciated, preferably cheap/affordable ones. I also don't know what my porosity is because my hair can get dry the day after moisturising despite feeling really soft at first. And when I put water on my roots at the front, some of it stays, but some of it doesn't get absorbed and just drips down my face, it's really confusing

Also, how do you wash them? Like handwashing? Machine washing? What setting? How often? How many bonnets do you have to rotate through?
