BMW Driver squeezes in while everyone else waits to take exit

I don’t understand why people drive like this.

Edit: Everyone complaining about the gap, I think I owe you an explanation.

  1. No, I wasn’t on my phone
  2. The gap was there because I saw the BMW driver getting super close to me and I didn’t want to deal with a crash.
