When is it time to call it a day
Hi I’m a M25 been dating a F22 for a couple of months I met her she works behind a bar, she was recently single when I first met her from a 2 year relationship we have been on only 3 dates in that 2 month span we talk most days and play games together and it’s been nice, I’ve been frustrated because I feel I’ve been putting way too much effort in for little in return, I always seem to be the one to start conversations and I’ve been writing her letters which felt personal. I care for her as a person and I do have feelings for her but she doesn’t want anything official and she has been open about talking to other guys, I at one point have removed her from my phone and she reached out and apologised and wanted to make things better but it’s just slipped back into the same old excuses of always busy and never wants to really do much but keeps in touch over the phone. When do I call it a day am I wasting my time with her at this point I do care for her but I don’t want to waste another 2 months on something that won’t lead anywhere. I feel I know my value as a person and don’t really like the situation of being in competition for her, but it feels hard to just walk away. Kind of sucks, for the record I’ve not had a relationship before so I’m struggling to work out how best to navigate things.
