Whats the worst thing that happened to you when trying to find a house/roomtaes
The worst one that i ever experienced tho was when i was on text with a random student from dal who had no profile pic on his facebook profile and he video called me and sent me the videos of his room and the house and all was good ( I was away at that time and was about to come into halifax and was really desperate to find a place ) so everything was checking out then I had to e transfer him $400 for the deposit and then i got blocked and ghosted . Thats Halifax broken housing system for you . Please comment your worst experience cuz i want to feel better about myself. (For context im asking bc me and 2 friends built a student-only app to try and fix some of this — SubSwap, university email verified so no scammers and its out on the apps store . but mostly i just wanna hear how bad its gotten for everyone else lol)
