Hello, I really wanted to study engineering and hopefully to become a registered engineer someday. Can I still appeal for reconsideration of civil and electronics with these scores? This is also same with my civil, pero hindi lang qualified yung score ko sa math portion ng civil kaya ang nakalagay sa status ko is "did not meet cut-off scores."

for context, I've already emailed the faculty of engineering's email on what are the steps for the reconsideration process kaso it's been 10 days and they still haven't replied to my email and nalalapit na rin kasi yung reservation of enrollment sa state university na napasahan ko (in which I got the course of BS Math-Applied Statistics). I am really grateful sa state university, but nasasaktan lang ako na parang mawawala yung dream ko—which is to become an engineer someday and I can't see myself pursuing other course/job other than engineering.

my question is can i still apply for a reconsideration process? I know na it's way too risky, pero sayang naman kasi if hindi ko to itatake a risk in applying for a reconsideration para makapasok and kung need ko bang magpunta sa mismong UST campus to speed up the process?

P.S I don't have a connection sa loob ng UST and naga-apply lang ako as someone na regular na applicant and have hopes in pursuing my dreams of becoming an engineer someday.

hello! an applicant of ust here for engineering, I recently failed my ustet na dalawang subtest nalang makakapasa na ako. I already emailed the faculty of engineering na for reconsideration process kaso it’s been 10 days wala pa rin akong natatanggap na reply huhu.

I’m also running out of time to decide kasi reservation of enrollment na sa state university na nakapasa ako sa amin next week. Is there any way pa po ba on how will I receive the reply of the faculty that I’ve sent my email to? Or need ko pa pong pumunta mismo sa ust? 🥺

Hello, an incoming freshie here! I passed one of the state universities here in my province (BulSU) under the course of BS-Mathematics-Applied statistics. I selected this course po as an alternative/second course dahil I see the upcoming opportunities na madaling iblend si bs math into other opportunities na pwedeng magland in between finance, data analyst, and such and what more if ipupursue ko pa ito for master’s in the near future?

I am really grateful naman po sa pagpasa in this course kaso what about my dream course talaga na BS-Civil engineering? Pangalawang beses na tong opportunity sa akin if ever man na I’ll let it slide na hindi ko ipupursue yung civil engineering this time kasi last time is hindi na ako pinayagan mag-manila, but this time ang cinoconsider naman naming school/univ is mapua kaso ang mahal naman ng tuition fee and tumatanda na rin yung parents ko and it would be a lift if mags-state university ako para maka lessen ng gastos and makapag-ipon.

If ever man po, what are the pros and cons po in taking these 2 different courses po?

I really wanted to pursue civil engineering kasi it has been my dream ever since, but as I saw the insights of the people na nag-pursue ng civil engineering is mababa daw yung sahod and such and mas maganda raw if kung magb-bs math applied stats ako to gain more opportunities under data analyst, software engineering and such po.

Pls don’t me get wrong po, but I am really thankful po for the opportunity

Hello, incoming freshie here! I initially passed a state university here in my province (bulsu) under my second considered course of bs mathematics-applied statistics. Maganda siya na ipush through, knowing na walang babayaran si mama and magaan na ang finances. However, my mother also considers my dream course na civil engineering and I am wondering kung magkano po ang usually na nagagastos niyo as a mapuan civil engineering student? 🥹
