Husband got Irish visa, I got refused. Now reapplying as a freelancer — how hard is this?

Looking for honest opinions on my Irish Short Stay 'C' Visit Visa

reapplication. Refused once on financial grounds and home ties, preparing to resubmit.

THE TRIP

- Married couple, Indian passports

- 19 June – 13 July 2026 (25 days)

- Visiting friend in Ireland (Stamp 4 holder, free accommodation)

MY PROFILE

- Freelance Software Developer since April 2025 (1 year in profession)

- Single client, GST-registered sole proprietorship

- 13-month income: avg ₹91k/month, last 6 months ~₹1.03L/month

- Bank: ₹2.67L | MF/Stocks: ₹2.10L

- Active education loan EMI + SIPs in India (return ties)

- Past travel: Canada, Malaysia, Japan - all compliant returns

HUSBAND (SPONSOR)

- Senior Engineer

- Annual ₹37.4L | Bank ₹6.45L

- Already holds APPROVED Irish visa for the SAME trip

- Has employer leave letter with return-to-work date (14 July 2026)

- Sponsoring me — covering flights, Scotland hotels, intercity

transport, sightseeing, insurance. I'm contributing for personal

expenses (food, local transport, incidentals).

TRIP COST: ~₹5.35L

COMBINED LIQUID FUNDS: ₹9.12L today

MY MAIN QUESTIONS

  1. How hard is it really to get an Irish visit visa as a freelancer, when my husband is already approved for the same trip and is sponsoring me? My client casually mentioned freelance applications "usually get rejected" and suggested I use an agency. Not sure if he's right or just being cautious.
  2. Income evidence I have: client engagement letter (wet-signed, with GSTIN), GST portal verification screenshot, 13 monthly invoices, 6 months of bank statements showing every payment, self-prepared income summary cross-referencing each credit. ITR for FY25-26 not yet filed (IT Dept hasn't enabled the utility for AY26-27 yet — addressed honestly in cover letter). Is this enough, or am I missing something obvious?
  3. Funds: 1.7x coverage today vs 2.4x after the bonus credits end-May. Worth waiting, or fine to submit now?

LOOKING FOR

- Anyone with freelance/contract income who got an Irish visa

Thanks!

CA / auditor recommendations in HSR Layout + typical charges?

Hi everyone, looking for recommendations for a good CA / auditor in or near HSR Layout, Bengaluru.

My wife is a freelance software developer, and we need help with income/tax documentation and possibly a CA certificate for visa purposes. Would be helpful to know:

  • any reliable CA/auditor recommendations in HSR Layout
  • roughly how much they usually charge for this kind of work

Would really appreciate any leads based on personal experience. Thanks!
