Dear Uber,
In 2023, I began driving under one of Uber’s trusted premium commercial fleet partner. After approximately six months of driving for the uber’s premium partner i decided to start my own commercial fleet hoping to see the same earnings as the Uber’s premium fleet partner. After getting all the required commercial documents and permits for my fleet i noticed a significant discrepancy in my per-mile supplement earnings. While driving under my own fleet i was only shown $1.00/mile in my earnings on top of the driver’s fare (please refer to the attached screenshot given below). However later, I transferred my driver account back to that uber’s premium fleet partner for some days then i noticed whenever i driver under this fleet my whole driver account’s User Interface changes but it comes back to normal once i join back into my fleet, Later i also discovered that this fleet partner had been receiving an Additional Supplement of $1.40/mile on top of the base $1.00/mile — totaling $2.40/mile per ride on top of the driver’s fare specifically tied to any driver account driving for this particular fleet partner.
Shortly after i also realized that this fleet partner made their per-ride earnings and weekly earnings invisible to drivers working under them. I have screenshots from my own trip history clearly showing both the Commercial Supplement and the Additional Supplement line items as proof and also since that company was a premium partner of uber they somehow managed to change the entire User Interface of my whole driver account. I was not able to see any numbers in my driver account except for tips.
I am not looking to create conflict — I am simply asking for transparency and fairness. I am fully willing to sign any NDA or Service Level Agreement if needed. I would appreciate direct communication from Uber’s driver support or partner relations team to review this matter.
