Uphill Battle

I am new to cycling and am really struggling with the uphill. I was just curious if anyone has any tips/tricks/training advice to help me navigate this.

Help

As many of you I went ahead and bought the OT G1 Explorer (small frame/ drop down) and it came already assembled. I noticed some screws that don’t seem quite right and was wondering if they are suppose to be this way or not. I am brand new to the riding scene and am just looking for some advice. Thanks in advance

So it’s been 1 year and 3 months since I had my right hip labrum repair with cam done(42/m). I had 3 anchors placed. Since about the 11 month mark I have been having severe pain in my right hip and left hip. I went back to my surgeon for both hips. When I went he basically blew me off and sent me for MRI arthrogram, at first only for my right and luckily before I left I noticed he didn’t give me an order for the left. His PA came I. With an order for my left and told me that I had an impingement in my left and that’s probably why my left hip hurt. My surgeon/doctor did t even mention it when he was in with me.
Fast forward a few weeks, got the results from my mri arthrogram. Go back and the surgeon basically boasted about how his surgery went amazing…again did not address left hip. Told me that it doesn’t look like I am in as much pain as I was before….how would he know? Told me to go to PT and if it still hurts in six weeks come back.
While in PT…all excursuses I do at home, I went for a second opinion. Brought a copy of my mri results along with the cd. I was informed that I have bursitis in both hips and tears in both. Along with that, he showed me that while they were doing my labrum repair they did not shave my bone down enough which is causing it to rub…hence a retear. The kicker is that this new doctor says he won’t repair either hip because he can’t guarantee it will solve the problem because the space between my joints are too thin and I would need a total hip replacement. Ok great, let’s do that. Nope keeps trying to give me cortisone shots and I refused the last one after already having 2 in my left and 2 in my right. I am just tired and frustrated at this point.
