I’m sitting here thinking. I understand why they removed the modern day from black flag.

But it worries me that the model they seem to be going with for the remakes is that it is someone new experiencing the old subject 17 memories.

But to me, AC1 isn’t AC1 without Desmond Miles and the modern day.

My hopes for the remakes is that they keep Desmonds story intact, and maybe even retcon the ending of AC3 if that were ever to get a remake.

But what do we GENUINELY do if they cut the modern day and especially Desmond in an AC1 Remake. It would ruin the game for me honestly.
