4 mo old short naps and independent sleep?
Our 5.5 mo old (4 mo old age adjusted preemie) has been taking 25-40 min naps for several weeks now 🫠. We were prepared for that since it’s fairly normal but we’ve continued working on independent sleep at first and second nap. My question is how long do you all let baby play or babble or just hang out in their sleep space at the start of a nap if they aren’t falling asleep on their own?
He used to fall asleep at first nap and sometimes second nap on his own, but that 4 mo sleep regression has done us dirty! He will chill in there for 10-15 min and then eventually it feels like I have to go in a rock him down.
