I've got a 1984 CB450SC Nighthawk with some carb issues. They are the stock VB22P carbs, which are proving to be insanely difficult to find parts for. They way i understand it is that the 450 Nighthawk was a rare bike, and only sold in Canada in 1984, making it not exist to most parts databases. The VB22P carbs are very uncommon as a result, meaning any parts support has long dried up.
That being said, any info on replacement parts would be appreciated. Also, has anyone attempted swapping the carbs for a Mikuni VM32 set with pod filters? If so, what jet sizes and tuning has worked?
