Need help with cold start issue

Hi all,

I really need help with my 78 CB750K not cold starting. I've been restoring the bike over the last few months and it runs well but won't cold start for shit. The list of what I haven't replaced is shorter than what I have. Everything that has to do with fuel delivery and spark has been replaced. I've rebuilt the carbs twice and cleaned them 4 times. Fuel flows and the accel pumps work. Ive synced the carbs 4 times I have 2 brand new agm batteries. New plugs new coils good compression (120 each cylinder). I'm really starting to get discouraged as I've sunk so much money into this bike and it still isn't reliable enough for me to just get on an go. Any info helps, thank you.

Ignition coil Soldering 1975 CB125s

I disconnect the wires from my ignition coil and see that the wires were soldered to these terminals. In reattaching the wires should remove the old stuff and re solder the wires back? Any advice would be appreciated!

2024 CB500F Please Help

Please help. 2024 CB500F with led lights.

I installed the Denali T3 rear turn signals and the B6 rear license plate light. The running lights and the brake likes work for the T3 lights. However the amber lights will not illuminate when the turn signal is switched on. The front lights "hyperflash" and the rear ambers do not illuminate at all.

Do I need a load resistor or a turn signal led relay to make these lights function properly?

If I run power directly from the battery to the amber light (green) wire the amber lights up.

I tested for power at the connector with it unplugged. 12v pulse at the plug.

If I reconnect the turn signal connector and turn the turn signal on, stripped back the heat shrink, then put the meter at the bare wire it has no power.

Is the computer being tricked somehow since it draws power to the brake/red running light, then cuts that power when the turn signal is pressed. Atleast it should, so that the amber lights will illuminate.

Or are the lights just not working with my turn signal relay?

Hondacb350 C

Buying a motorcycle was toughest decision for me. I had two choices RE meteor and the Honda cb 350c.

Took the first test ride on RE meteor.

The engine is peppy and great response. But the rear seat is small not comfortable either to sit

Then I test ride honda cb350c felt the difference more refined ample space for pillion and the beauty is the comfortable for rider and pillion.

Made up my mind WITH🏁✌🏼👑 with Honda CB350C

My Honda CB1000F in Taiwan

I was stoked to take delivery of my Honda CB1000F on August 1, 2026. The sharp acceleration, light and nimble feel through the corners, great cornering control, and that awesome exhaust note have all been a huge surprise for me coming from a Rebel 1100 DCT, I’m really happy to own the CB1000F.

As for the square instrument cluster, I upgraded it with the genuine Honda headlight cowl, so it doesn’t stand out nearly as much anymore. By the way, I’m based in Taiwan.

Loose nut

Hi all, today I noticed my cb500 hornet making a high pitched vibration noise over 6k rpm, that seemed to be coming from the throttle cable. Gave everything in that area a feel and noticed that the circled nut is slightly loose, likely making the noise. The issue i’m facing is that attempting to tighten it doesn’t really keep it tight, instead the softer plastic behind it has started to warp slightly. Any advice? (not my picture, just used for example)

Honda CB500 PC32 (1997) – looking for right footrest bracket

Hi everyone!

Sooo.... I've had my 1997 Honda CB500 PC32 for just about a month now. It's my first motorcycle and unfortunately I already had a tiny crash. Nothing happened to me, but sadly the right footrest bracket (rear brake side) broke.

The footpeg mounting point broke directly out of the aluminium bracket, so I need to replace the whole thing. And without a footpeg, riding the bike obviously isn't really an option I guess :(

The part numbers I found are:

50600-MY5-730 – HOLDER R STEP
Replaced by: 50600-MY5-G30

Both seem to be discontinued and I've had no luck finding a used one either. There are tons of left-side brackets available, but apparently no right ones.

Does anyone know where I could still find one, whether another Honda model uses a compatible bracket, or maybe even have one lying around?

I'm located in Germany, but I'd also consider buying from elsewhere in Europe if its not too expensive.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated! :D

Shifting from 4th to neutral

This question is regarding the 2025 CB350 series engine

Say i am at 60 on 4th gear, i leave the throttle let the bike slow down, it reaches 40, i press the clutch once fully, dont leave it and then move to third gear, hear the click, still dont release the clutch and press the gear to second, hear the click, still dont leave the clutch and go to neutral and leave the clutch and cruise rest of the way till the bike halts...will that harm my motorcycle. Since I am use to old bullets, i use to just go to neutral anytime i wanted at whatever speed because it had an extra lever straight to go to neutral, i miss that freedom of going to neutral anytime...

My question is not regarding if this is a good and safe habit, my question is only regarding the impact such a thing has on the machine, does it harm it or does the machine totally does not care weather i change one gear at a time to reach neutral or 3 gears to reach neutral.

Mystery black spots on rear pillion cast aluminium peg brackets

Anybody know what these marks are on my CB125R 2025? It’s definitely not dirt or road grime, as motorcycle degreaser cleaner doesn’t seem to budge it. It is a fairly new bike, so didn’t know if it was fixable, and if it was corrosion, I would expect better quality from Honda.

6 month ownership review

While I’m waiting for my bike to finish its water wash, I thought I’d write a quick review for anyone planning to buy a CB350RS.
I bought mine in March, and here’s what I’ve experienced so far.
Pros
• The engine:
This is probably my favourite thing about the bike. The engine is really smooth, and the overall riding experience feels refined.
• The sound:
The exhaust note sounds really good, especially when you open up the throttle.
• Seat height:
The seat height is pretty comfortable and manageable, even for shorter riders. My girlfriend finds it comfortable to handle as well.
• Mileage:
With my aggressive riding style, I usually get around 30 km/l. If you ride normally, I think 35 km/l is achievable.
• Fuel tank & range:
The 15-litre tank combined with decent mileage gives you a really good riding range. This is one of the reasons I chose this bike.
Cons
• Seat comfort:
The seat is quite stiff. After around 45 minutes to an hour, it starts getting uncomfortable for both the rider and pillion.
• Front mudguard:
The front mudguard is too short. If you ride after rain, expect a lot of mud and water splashing onto the bike. Basically, another water wash incoming.
• Rust:
You need to maintain the bike properly. If you neglect cleaning and maintenance, some parts can start showing signs of rust relatively quickly.
• Suspension:
The suspension could definitely be better. It can feel a bit harsh on bad roads. I’m actually wondering if upgrading the suspension would make a noticeable difference.
That’s pretty much everything I can think of for now.
Overall:
I’m happy with my choice. I mainly chose the CB350RS because I wanted a bike that gives me a good balance between performance, mileage and riding range — especially with fuel prices constantly going up.
So far, I’m enjoying the bike! 🏍️ and love the Japanese engineering 🇯🇵

Thanks for reading this.

82’ CB650

Mikunis coming in, cut skirt tabs off. Making a custom battery box to hide everything under the new seat.

Need to weld round tail and she’ll be ready to roll after 4 months.

Anyone in Charlotte or surrounding areas?
