Shifting from 4th to neutral

This question is regarding the 2025 CB350 series engine

Say i am at 60 on 4th gear, i leave the throttle let the bike slow down, it reaches 40, i press the clutch once fully, dont leave it and then move to third gear, hear the click, still dont release the clutch and press the gear to second, hear the click, still dont leave the clutch and go to neutral and leave the clutch and cruise rest of the way till the bike halts...will that harm my motorcycle. Since I am use to old bullets, i use to just go to neutral anytime i wanted at whatever speed because it had an extra lever straight to go to neutral, i miss that freedom of going to neutral anytime...

My question is not regarding if this is a good and safe habit, my question is only regarding the impact such a thing has on the machine, does it harm it or does the machine totally does not care weather i change one gear at a time to reach neutral or 3 gears to reach neutral.

Do people engage clutch while starting the bike

AI tells me it is best to be safe and if the neutral indicator is wrong I will hurt myself by pressing the start button on the bike, so AI is asking me to engage the clutch, start the bike, and then release the clutch slowly making sure the bike is on neutral, or maybe before disengaging the clutch I anyways can go to a gear and then start as normally i would, afterall I started the bike only to put it on a gear and move it.

I am just curious how many people follow this habit, because technically speaking it seems this habit does no harm or benefit to the Honda motorcycle, is that true? Is this habit truly having no impact on the motorcycle.
