6 month ownership review

While I’m waiting for my bike to finish its water wash, I thought I’d write a quick review for anyone planning to buy a CB350RS.
I bought mine in March, and here’s what I’ve experienced so far.
Pros
• The engine:
This is probably my favourite thing about the bike. The engine is really smooth, and the overall riding experience feels refined.
• The sound:
The exhaust note sounds really good, especially when you open up the throttle.
• Seat height:
The seat height is pretty comfortable and manageable, even for shorter riders. My girlfriend finds it comfortable to handle as well.
• Mileage:
With my aggressive riding style, I usually get around 30 km/l. If you ride normally, I think 35 km/l is achievable.
• Fuel tank & range:
The 15-litre tank combined with decent mileage gives you a really good riding range. This is one of the reasons I chose this bike.
Cons
• Seat comfort:
The seat is quite stiff. After around 45 minutes to an hour, it starts getting uncomfortable for both the rider and pillion.
• Front mudguard:
The front mudguard is too short. If you ride after rain, expect a lot of mud and water splashing onto the bike. Basically, another water wash incoming.
• Rust:
You need to maintain the bike properly. If you neglect cleaning and maintenance, some parts can start showing signs of rust relatively quickly.
• Suspension:
The suspension could definitely be better. It can feel a bit harsh on bad roads. I’m actually wondering if upgrading the suspension would make a noticeable difference.
That’s pretty much everything I can think of for now.
Overall:
I’m happy with my choice. I mainly chose the CB350RS because I wanted a bike that gives me a good balance between performance, mileage and riding range — especially with fuel prices constantly going up.
So far, I’m enjoying the bike! 🏍️ and love the Japanese engineering 🇯🇵

Thanks for reading this.
