I’m dating a man who is kind, loving, humble, and really amazing in many ways. We have meaningful discussions, especially about life and religion, and I really enjoy being with him. He’s very broad-minded and pushes me to think outside the box (while respecting my values), and I genuinely love spending time with him.

The challenge is that we are quite different in our lifestyles. He is more extroverted, goes to clubs, sometimes drinks when traveling abroad, and hangs out freely with both male and female colleagues. On the other hand, I’m more reserved. I’ve never drank, never smoked, I’m a practicing woman, and I’ve never been to clubs, even while traveling with friends.

Now that marriage is becoming serious, our arguments about future life and values are increasing because we both have strong views.

I love him, but I’m scared we may be too different for marriage.

Has anyone been through something similar? Did it work out?
