Made it official after meeting on Hinge
Hi everyone! I’m posting this because I read the posts on this sub all the time and I know how good it feels to find a nugget of hope so if you need it hear me out.
I (28F) have been single pretty much my whole life. I have had situationships that ranged from a couple weeks to several months. I tried every dating app that’s out there.. you name it, I probably tried it. I’ve been on far too many first dates to count, almost as many second dates, and have been labeled as a hopeless romantic by more than one person. And truly, things did feel hopeless for a long time.
My current partner (35M) did not come when I “least expected it” or when I “wasn’t looking for love” despite what everyone says. I was actively looking and going on a couple dates a week. When I met him, it was just a normal first date. I almost didn’t pull myself off the couch to go because I had a long work day and was a little tired, but I’m so thankful that I did! I knew he was special from day 1.
We made things official today after 4 months of dating. He is everything I could ask for in a partner and I am so excited to do life with him :)
Please do not give up. Your person is out there. I’m so thankful to have found mine… shoutout Hinge I guess? 😭
