Work accident
So I was in a bad truck accident almost a year ago suffered head trauma and still going through the workcover stuff
The accident is at least to my recollection an accident
Was the truck in top condition? No I had to clutch start it that morning when I advised the boss that I would take it off the road for the day so a mechanic could fix it and other issues was told no we are behind run it
The tanker was basically scrap metal value the baffle system was non functional the weight of the water shifting when the truck veered was enough to roll it and the rest is history
I was then told 3 days later after being choppered to hospital that my accident was gonna cause the company to close the doors and them to declare bankruptcy
The company bought a new truck 2 months later and has broken contact entirely other than a long drawn out email chain trying to get seperation cert and the owner telling my mother that I fucked his life I have not been able to get any sort of conversation going since
I feel abandoned and forgotten
Thoughts??
