I just got off the waitlist to be accepted at UMD as a freshman after the May 1 housing deadline and am currently waitlisted for housing.

Is there a chance I get on campus housing? If not, where should I look for housing? If I get a backup off campus, what happens if I get off the waitlist for on campus?

If I don’t get on campus housing, how should I go about meeting other freshman?
