I’m thinking about getting the Subaru WRX ETS Extreme Catback Exhaust (non-resonated + non-muffled) for my completely stock 2023 WRX.
I’m expecting it to be LOUD, but I wanted to ask people here who actually run this setup:
How loud is it during cold starts, city driving, and highway cruising?
Is the drone bad on the highway?
Any regrets going non-res + non-muffler?
Did you notice pops/crackles on stock tune?
Would you recommend this setup for a daily driver?
How different is it compared to stock exhaust?
Also wondering about warranty:
Can a catback like this void warranty on a stock WRX?
Has anyone had dealership issues because of an exhaust?
Did Subaru deny anything related/unrelated after installing it?
This is my first Subaru so I’m still learning the platform. I don’t mind loud, but I also don’t want to regret it after long drives 😂

I bought my first Subaru — a 2023 WRX — at 59,800 km, and it’s now at 69,200 km. I’ve already done 2 oil + oil filter changes since owning it.
Can anyone share their own maintenance schedule in KM for their WRX/Subaru? I’d like to get some ideas from experienced owners.
Should I just strictly follow the factory maintenance schedule, or are there extra things you guys recommend doing earlier? Any tips or advice would be appreciated!
