I am dating a man who claims to be divorced. I have had some doubts about it- and some rumours stating his marriage is still alive.

To solve for my anxiety he will take me to the court tomorrow. As a person with 0 legal knowledge - what are the things I should check basis whatever he shows me . Some unique identifier which I can use to verify later also.

Reason I’m asking : he is capable of lying, so I just want to be sure.
