Help (Pixel 8 Pro)
I started using my Pixel 8 Pro about 3 days ago. (Tl;Dr my old phone stopped working and my parents had the 8 pro unopened as my dad got it with some sort of deal a few years back so they gave it to me since they don't need it.) For reference, the phone has never been opened/used until now and was purchased in 2024. Everything has been great up until today. I have not installed any new apps (besides the ones my old phone ported over) but the phone is suddenly unable to load social media apps. I've tried using my data instead of wifi, I've tried restarting it, I've tried going into the battery settings and turning off the 120hz display as well as disabling background use on pretty much every app I have, and nothing seems to work. It takes forever to load webpages and apps for absolutely no reason (and was working fine a day ago) and on top of that the battery is suddenly draining really fast. Does anyone have any tips on anything I can do or know of anything that could work to fix this? I'm very new to android (old phone was an iPhone 13 pro) and have been impressed so far but am quite disappointed and really hoping I haven't just bricked it somehow. Maybe there is a setting I missed or something but idk. If anyone has any tips I'd really appreciate it.
