"It's culture, not religion"

It's such a great way at times to excuse how humans are interacting with your religions values overall. Why do muslims love to ignore the humanity of other muslims and whether Islamic values or "how they are explained" could be hurting them?

How do you expect humans , who are given threats of being given boiling water to drink and intestine explosions will be acting?

How do you expect humans to behave when they are told not to love God like a lazy person but "submit" to god? Or how good deeds are fine but belief, which easily divides people into groups than good deeds is everything because Disbelievers deeds are a waste.

How do you expect people to react when the pillars of faith , especially the one most practised - salah is mostly about showing subscription through empty acts and not a basic moral set? No wonder why muslims be making stuff up to "moralise" it. How do you expect the men to act when they are told they can ask from the women to agree on sexual relations whenever he wishes, get four wives, and the women have to cover up to avoid his gaze because he struggles lowering his gaze without it?

How do you expect men to feel when they try protecting their sisters from a harrasser through hijab but have to know its thought process in the midst and watch them wear it in front of them? Or defend "ownership" = "consent"?

How do you expect for people to act when asking for forgiveness by reconciling the other person is told to them , but then told they have to ask for forgiveness from allah 100 times daily and their sins will be wiped away through a wudu and how being "god consciousness" is important daily so say multiple duas? Or how people don't matter , they all will betray you one day ,only allah stays up to something?

Or love their families? When they are told a child has to obey to a point of not saying an oof and a wife has to obey her husband "for the sake of Allah" and a husband can get it at home in steps? Both can be disciplined? And their religion loves "submission". Their love will be "validation", "admiration" , "control over abandonment fears" , possessiveness being called "devotion" and maintaining "self image" rather than deep mutual recognition of each other.

How do you expect people to react when marriage is considered highly encouraged unlike "normal non Islamic studies" or "trade for the women" and it's related to food, water , shelter and money for the other gender?

And "fear Allah" and his "hell fire" while he tells you "I control your deeds"

And how do you expect them to "think" when they sit and believe in jinns and shaitan as an actual person? And believe in ridiculous stories?

So some muslims like to say that everything in Islam has a reason, but this? Which needs to be done everyday? At all costs too?

Some muslims say "to ground back to Islam", if all your good works currently are islamic or good in general, why suddenly even disrupt your work for this which does no good.

Then they say "it's exercise", it's not. My yoga is better than this and I cannot skip salah for yoga. I cannot walk in a quiet park for a while when it's salah time.

Others say "it's good for mental health" , dawg what mental health be getting cured while praying to a god whom you have to fear and gave you threats of being given boiling water in case you don't wanna pray anymore. And I am mentally happy and yet I have to pray and not do anything else which could be better or equal as well.

It's wild as this was given reasoning like "it's the difference between a kafir and muslim" , you be getting apostasy death threats potentially for a salah. It's messed up.

Even if it is for "subscription" to islam sake or "maintain belief" it's useless to make it 5 times each day for life. Why does one have to feel anxiety over this fact while they are sick, working, during exams? I used to feel damn anxious and sad about having to cover up all my daily salah during a literal examination or staying in hospital for literal brain damage.

And why is maintaining belief this important above anything good? Yeah belief matters more than good deeds and then good deeds come and then you will say 'not islam' when people judge disbelief more harshly than wacky muslims.

And salah doesn't make you truly "believe" or "get closer to allah" always.

Some say "you get to ask things to allah and he does it for you!" , yeah and there is a way to cope if he doesn't listen to you for a reason. Hell, a whole concept of his qadr exists.
