People that have had multiple consultations with surgeons before making a decision...

I have consults scheduled with two surgeons to see who I feel most comfortable with. I have the first three weeks before the second. Do I tell the first surgeon to hold off on submitting pre-auth to my insurance until I meet with the second and can make a decision on who to go with, or can both drs submit for pre-auth??
