GEM 2027 Entry

Hi everyone,

First time med applicant and poster here - been tryna find some information online to help inform my med school choices, but still struggling to determine if I’m a viable applicant or not.

I have sat the GAMSAT and scored a 57 first time (which I know is a little weak). From what I can see, it meets the cut offs for SGUL for the last three years - so would this be a relatively safe choice in terms of securing an interview?

Liverpool would also be my other GAMSAT uni as I have three years paid work at an NHS hospital lab which I believe they score. I’m also sitting UCAT this summer for my other two potential choices (Chester and Worcester).

If anyone has any experiences with a similar profile, any other med school choice suggestions or any advice on whether it’s worth an application or not with this GAMSAT score, I would really appreciate it 😊

Thanks guys 🙏
