I am tired of this girl copying everything I do

Miss ma'am is supposed to be my best friend, which she is, but I am so irritated by the way she is always so interested in what I do and often copies me. One time, she even copied my bday outfit idea that I had in mind for myself. Since her birthday comes before mine, she did it first and I can't even confront her about it, as it would sound silly. Then I had to change plans for my own bday outfit. I still managed to look good, but yeah, I liked my previous idea more.

She then goes on to try to copy some parts of my personality, like doing things the way I do. She even copied my final year thesis idea. I didn't even know about this. Fortunately, I changed my topic to something that interested me more. She then goes on to even copy my IG stories. Uses the same captions that I did, reposts a lot of stuff that I post and poses the same way that I do. Whatever I do, give it some days, and it'll be on her account too. Moreover, she has told me like thrice that she's jealous of me, but in a fun way, like "woww I'm so jealous."

Worst of all, she is now trying to copy my career. Not once, but twice. I'm now trying to do a second master's, and while I am exploring options, I changed my mind twice about what I want to do and both times, she said she is planning for it as well. Like you changed your mind twice and on the same days and in the same specific field of interest? Okayy bro.

Maybe it's my fault for keeping people like her in my life. In my defence, apart from copying me, she is really a good friend. She ticks a lot of other qualities for being a friend but this one just strikes everything else off. Plus a lot of ppl in my life act this way but not as often as her. I truly dont know what to feel about all this. I just wanted to let it out somewhere.

Why do I perform well when I am less prepared?

This happens very often. Whenever I prepare too well for Interviews, I fumble it almost every time, but when I am less prepared or worse, go unprepared, I somehow perform well. Why does this happen?

I am genuinely confused.

I'm not any better but there's something really weird about the way people act and interact with each other after the lockdown. Nothing feels natural or genuine anymore.
