Quick look at the Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High Off-White University Blue .overall a pretty solid pair.

Shape is on point, especially the toe box which isn’t overly chunky. The blue panels have the right tone, and the grey suede looks decent with a slightly rough texture instead of being too smooth. Leather quality looks consistent across panels.

The swoosh placement is clean and extends properly, with the orange tab sitting in a good position. “AIR” text on the midsole looks correctly placed and not too bold. Inner text alignment is also decent, which is something that’s often off on weaker pairs.

Wings logo is sharp, tongue has the expected exposed foam look, and stitching overall is neat without anything messy standing out.

Verdict: Nothing major jumping out with clean pair, easy GL ✅

Every week feels like I'm just reacting to whatever's on fire and calling it management. I had to sat down and mapped out the 5 steps of strategic planning that made things click for me after talking to other owners and getting some outside perspective on my agency. This is really worth trying, it's boring honestly, but it does help.

  1. Define your vision, mission, and values:

Sounds basic but most small business owners skip this and then wonder why their team makes decisions that don't align with where the business is going. Your mission is why you exist, your vision is where you want to be, and your values are the guardrails for how you get there. I realized my team had no idea what we were building toward because I'd never spelled it out, they were just reacting to whatever I reacted to.

  1. Conduct a situational analysis:

This is where you look at your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats honestly, what people call a SWOT analysis. Internal stuff like what you're good at and where you're bleeding money, external stuff like market shifts and competitive pressure. I also looked at it through a PEST lens (political, economic, social, tech) which helped me see some threats I was ignoring because they weren't urgent yet. The uncomfortable part is writing down your weaknesses on paper but that's where the real strategic planning starts.

  1. Set strategic goals and objectives:

Not vague stuff like "grow the business" but SMART objectives, specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. "Increase profit margin from 12% to 18% by Q4" is a goal you can work toward and measure. "Do better financially" is a wish. This step forced me to get honest about what I could realistically accomplish in a given timeframe instead of making a list of 30 things that never get done.

  1. Develop and implement the plan:

Break the goals into action steps, assign who's responsible for what, and allocate the resources. This is where most small business strategic planning falls apart because owners create the plan and then go back to running the day to day without changing anything. The plan has to become the operating system not a document you revisit once a year.

  1. Monitor, measure, and adapt:

Pick your KPIs, track them consistently, and review quarterly not annually. Annual strategic planning cycles are too slow for small businesses, things change fast and a plan you set in january might be irrelevant by april. Quarterly review keeps the strategy alive and lets you adjust based on real data instead of gut feel.

Picked these up recently and they’re a really clean pair overall. The yellow suede looks soft with a nice even tone, not too bright, not too dull. The white leather panels look smooth and give a good contrast with that blue swoosh.

Swoosh shape and placement look solid, not oversized or off. Toe box isn’t chunky and the perforations look clean. Heel details are done well too, both the wings logo and the smiley stitching look sharp and fairly neat.

Shape looks good overall and everything seems aligned properly. The gum sole ties the whole colorway together nicely.

Definitely a solid summer pair, simple but stands out enough.

Just two weeks after getting my dream car, something terrible happened. I was driving one morning, feeling comfortable on my seat, one hand on the steering wheel, feeling fly. I could notice the audience I pulled whenever I passed by. And I don’t blame them, the car is a beauty. I was at high speed, approaching a zebra crossing. I looked both sides of the road to see if there were people crossing, I didn’t see anybody so I kept moving. A notification popped up on my phone and I looked at the phone and saw it was just Accio reminding me about business info. As I lifted my head, a woman bumps into the road.

Unfortunately I was already at a certain speed and I hit her. I tried my best to hold onto the brakes but I was already too close. I immediately came down from the car, to check if the woman was still alive. She laid flat on the floor looking lifeless, my heart sank into my stomach, i had literal goosebumps, everywhere was suddenly so hot. I called 911 with shaking hands while muttering prayers hoping I did not just kill someone. I stood there confused, everywhere felt silent, I could only hear my heart beating so loud. A few minutes later the ambulance came to her rescue. I offered to follow them to the hospital but they refused. I felt so terrible that whole day. I went to the hospital where they took the woman and I met her. I apologized to her and promised to take care of the cost of her treatment.

I’m not gonna lie, I almost lost it a few hours ago, what if something had happened to her. I’m also one to avoid accidents but to now be the one making the hit it hurts me more.
