My husband is a teacher. We use envelope budgeting (through YNAB) which has completely changed our lives. We set goals together but I really run the budget in our home. The number he gives me for what he needs to spend on his classroom is always way off. Realistically, how much are you all spending on your classroom needs as established elementary teachers? I don’t mind setting what he needs aside, but I just need to be able to plan. I’m hoping if I have feedback from other teachers we can have a more realistic conversation.

New to Bevel. Is there anyway I can tell it that I am a nursing mom and my energy expenditure is a little higher than the app currently predicts? Generally the recommendation is to assume you are burning an additional 500 calories or so.
