10 year old well cared for fridge in clean quiet home. Out of the blue, the Fridge stopped freezing adequately. Currently stays around 38/38 degrees. After unplugging, it will get cold enough buyt just gradually rises back up and doesnt cool it back down.Condenser coil is clean, fan is running. Evap fan runs as well. Evap coil frosts evenly.
I have disconnected ice maker completely, and removed defrost heater element, still behaves the same. so any type of heaters are not staying on etc.
This Model has service mode diagnostics built in to displeay, Thermostats pass this test. I also removed J1 plug and tested thermostat there, and resistance is accurate for temp.
Am I able to test run capacitor in this model?
I am just a home diy tinkerer, and welcome any advice, and help!
